LIGHTS ON has participated in this project as Lighting Designer in coordination with Openbook’s Architect team members. With this building rehabilitation, a new modern and well organized office emerged at the center of Lisbon in front of the new cruise terminal.
Vertically separated in two floors, Noble areas are accessible to the clients such as reception, meeting rooms, VIP dinning room and auditorium, all placed in ground floor. First floor is exclusive for lawyers and their team members. In this area you may find a beautifull wide open ceiling with white wood trusses with special lighting designed for enhance ceiling and all the vertical, horizontal and diagonal net lines composed by this trusses, helping to expand the volume of the space.
All workstations received a special lighting fixtures which comply with all norms requirements and also enhances the space in a homegeneous and confortable way. Reception, board meeting room, leisure area, food court and specially auditorium, received dedicated functional combined with a scenic lighting scheme, providing a confortable special atmosphere and changeable ambience.
Some fixtures were designed and produced in Portugal, specifically for this project.
